Our Story
Where it started
Born in the workshop

Tiger Darts began as a personal project. Ty wanted his own darts customised and could not find anyone to do it properly, so he started doing it himself: adding colour and PVD coatings, removing weight, repairing and modifying whatever came his way.
Word spread through local clubs and online communities. Players kept asking for the same care on their own darts, and Ty became known as the Dart Doctor. One evening at a family gathering, talking about how much demand there was, the idea for Tiger Darts took shape.
Today we offer a full range of custom design, conversion and repair services to players across the country, every job worked on in-house, by hand, with the same care it started with.
The founders
A family team

The Tiger strength is in the family, the McIntosh clan. Lee and Ty were brought back together by their father Alan, mostly to feed his darts habit. Having rediscovered his form a little too late on the Spanish coast, Alan decided it was time to combine the brothers' very different skill sets into one team.
Growing up in the pub league scene, watching the late, great Eric Bristow rise to dominate the sport, the pull was always there. Tiger Darts is what that shared history turned into.

What we stand for
Style, service, and a reason behind it
Style. We turn standard sets into darts that feel like yours, a finish that matches how you play and gives you confidence at the oche.
Service. From first contact to follow-up, it is a full package, not just the work itself. Happy players make for happier tigers.
Support. We are named after an animal in decline. 5% of our profit goes to tiger conservation, because the brand is about more than darts: it is about awareness, community and doing right by the things we care about.
